EU Sanctions Chinese and Iranian Firms for Cyber Attacks

The European Union imposed sanctions on two Chinese companies and one Iranian firm for their involvement in cyber attacks against member states. Integrity Technology Group and Anxun Information Technology from China, along with Emennet Pasargad from Iran, are now facing asset freezes and travel restrictions. Integrity Technology Group was found to have enabled hacks on 65,000 devices in six EU countries, while Anxun Information Technology provided hacking services for critical infrastructure. The EU also targeted two co-founders of Anxun for their direct roles in these activities.
