China Introduces AI-Powered Robot Pharmacist in Beijing

There is a new AI–powered robot pharmacist, Galbot G1, in Beijing’s Haidian District. Developed by Beijing Galbot Co. Ltd, the robot is designed to assist in pharmacies, subject to the operating company holding a valid pharmaceutical distribution permit. Galbot G1 boasts advanced automation features that enable it to identify, retrieve, and package medicines efficiently, including delicate and irregularly shaped items. The system has an impressive success rate of 99.5 percent in accurately handling medications, enhancing operational precision and speed in pharmacies.
