HONG KONG, March 12 (Reuters) – Hong Kong authorities raided Guotai Junan International this week, seizing certain documents and detaining an employee, the brokerage said on Thursday. The city’s securities regulator has also raided CLSA, a local unit of Citic Securities, linked to its handling of some recent share sale transactions, two sources with knowledge of the matter have said. Guotai Junan said in a filing that the employee was detained by the Independent Commission Against Corruption of Hong Kong after it was raided on Tuesday by the body and the Securities and Futures Commission.
