PM Modi aboards C-130J, lands on highway in Dibrugarh close to China border

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday landed at the first of its kind Emergency Landing Facility (ELF) aboard the C-130J transport aircraft on Moran Bypass in Assam’s Dibrugarh – a strategic location in Northeast not far away from Line of Actual Control with China. It has been specially designed and constructed in coordination with the Indian Air Force to support landing and take-off of military and civil aircraft during emergencies.
