Clorox to acquire GOJO Industries of Akron for $2.25 billion

The Clorox Company Thursday announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire GOJO Industries, one of Akron’s oldest large businesses. Clorox will pay $2.25 billion in cash for GOJO, whose headquarters is on South Main Street.
