UN Security Council endorses US plan for Gaza security force

The UN Security Council has adopted a resolution authorizing an international security force in the Gaza Strip, delivering a diplomatic victory to the Trump administration a day before it welcomes the Saudi crown prince to Washington. The resolution passed with 13 votes in favor and abstentions from Russia and China.
