China Opposes Trump’s 50% Levy On India, Says Envoy Xu Feihong

Chinese envoy Xu Feihong stated on Thursday that China “fully opposes” the US decision to impose tariffs of up to 50% on India, as well as Washington’s threat to escalate these measures. In a speech at a Delhi event, Feihong also remarked that tariff and trade “wars” are causing disruptions to the global economic and trade system.
