Threat level Re "Is Trump's claim of total victory over Iran a rerun of Bush's 'Mission Accomplished' speech?" (Report on Business, June 27): There's likely no one on the planet who thinks that Iran having a nuclear weapon is a good thing. That's why the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, the "nuclear deal" which came into force in 2015, was such a triumph of diplomacy. Multiple inspections confirmed that Iran was complying with the agreement. Donald Trump withdrew from the agreement in 2018.
