US vetoes UN resolution demanding immediate Gaza ceasefire

The United States vetoed a United Nations (UN) Security Council resolution demanding an immediate and unconditional ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, the release of all hostages and the resumption of full-scale humanitarian aid deliveries to the enclave on Wednesday.
