The ABC's 7.30 Political Editor Laura Tingle is leaving the current affairs program after six years to take up a new position as Global Affairs Editor, the broadcaster has announced. Tingle, a Walkley-Award-winning journalist, will take up the post mid-year, joining a network of foreign correspondents, the Asia Pacific Newsroom and Foreign Correspondent staff.
