Oil prices fell on Friday as traders squared positions ahead of an OPEC+ meeting and amid some skepticism about a potential de-escalation of the trade dispute between China and the United States. Brent crude futures were down 42 cents, or 0.7 per cent, to $61.71 a barrel at 0922 GMT, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude futures fell 46 cents, or 0.8 per cent, to $58.78 a barrel.
