Vladimir Putin eyes Indonesian military base for Russian long-range aircrafts

Australia has warned Vladimir Putin he's not welcome in the region, amid reports Russia is seeking to base several long-range aircraft in an Indonesian province near Darwin. Military publication, Janes, on Tuesday reported Moscow was seeking permission from Jakarta for Russian Aerospace Forces aircraft to be based at the Manuhua Air Force Base at Biak Numfor – about 1400 kilometres from Australia's mainland.
