Trudeau to announce countermeasures as Trump tariffs take effect

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will hold a news conference Tuesday to announce impose counter-tariff measures on the United States before a video meeting the provincial premiers as the country's faces the prospect of deep job losses and a crippling recession. Mr. Trudeau will be joined at the news conference at 10:30 a.m. by Finance Minister Dominic LeBlanc and Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly.
