Daily Briefing: India's trade, beyond US

Good morning, For the first time ever, the United States stood with Russia in voting against a resolution introduced by Ukraine at the United Nations, calling for "de-escalation" and a "peaceful resolution". The resolution, however, was passed with 93 votes in favour, while India and China abstained from voting. Later, the US pushed through its own resolution at the UN Security Council, noticeably omitting Ukraine's territorial integrity. While resolutions earlier adopted by the UN have failed to stop the war, this one crucially highlighted the shift in the US stance towards Russia. On that note, let's get to today's edition….
