China has hit back at accusations the live-fire drills it conducted between Australia and New Zealand were done without any transparency, defending its actions as being in line with international law. China's Defence Ministry on Sunday said the country's live-fire exercises in the Tasman Sea had no impact on aviation safety and airlines were warned in advance.
