Trump’s controversial defence secretary to meet NATO chiefs – as UK chairs contact group As we mentioned in our morning summary, US defence secretary Pete Hegseth will meet with NATO chiefs this morning at the alliance’s headquarters in Brussels. Hegseth is in Belgium for two days, meeting UK defence secretary John Healey first thing this morning.
