US urges South Korea to tighten chip export curbs on China

The U.S. wants South Korea to further restrict the export of advanced semiconductor technology and tools used for making high-end logic and memory chips to China, Bloomberg News reported citing people with knowledge of the matter. The U.S. has asked South Korea to adopt similar export restrictions on China as it has.
