First direct flights to China’s ‘luxurious playground’ launched

A new route from Manchester to Shanghai will be launched with Juneyao Air this year. The service is the first ever from the North to Shanghai which is described as a “luxurious playground for the well-heeled” by TripAdvisor. Flights will launch on July 1 and run three times per week on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays. The flights will operate on a Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft with business and economy classes.
