'Nothing can justify bombardment in Palestine': Ex-envoy to UN

A day after the International Court of Justice (ICJ) ordered Israel to prevent acts of genocide in Palestine while refraining from calling for a ceasefire amid the ongoing war against Hamas, former ambassador of India to the United Nations TS Tirumurti on Saturday said that the conflict demands a political solution. "Nothing can justify this bombardment, not even a terrorist attack by Hamas or their taking of hostages," he underlined.
