Alibaba shuts quantum computing lab in sign of broader cutback

(Bloomberg) — Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. has shuttered its quantum computing research lab, a sign that the Chinese e-commerce and cloud operator is considering more cutbacks to bulk up the bottom line.
