China slams US for ‘inciting trouble,’ magnifying sea dispute

THE Chinese Embassy in Manila on Thursday claimed that the United States has “incited troubles” and magnified differences in the South China Sea (SCS) in its pursuit of selfish geopolitical interests. “This is quite clear to countries in the region,” the embassy said in a statement.
