Lok Sabha on Thursday witnessed a heated exchange between Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury over the border stand-off with China with the minister asserting that he has the “courage to discuss” the issue in the Lok Sabha. During the discussion on the success of the Chandrayaan-3 mission and other achievements in the space sector in the House, Singh who initiated the debate, referred to the country’s border security and the role of science in protecting the nation’s frontier. This provoked the Congress leader to ask: “Cheen ke baare mein charcha karne ki aapki himmat hai”.
