Trump shifts campaign focus to autoworkers as poll momentum builds

Mr Trump's legal woes seem to be providing the momentum. In the first few days following his arrest on charges of surrounding his efforts to overturn the 2020 election, Trump raised $US7.1 million ($11 million). Republican primary elections begin in Iowa in January, and Mr Trump's fund-raising efforts have gone into overdrive with daily emails to supporters asking for $US35 dollar donations in return for a signed poster of his infamous mugshot in the Fulton County Jail in Georgia. His latest campaigning is directed at a looming autoworkers strike that could result in an expensive 10-day shutdown of the industry….
