Morning Update: Ford's Ontario government favoured developers with Greenbelt plan, Auditor-General's report says

Good morning, Ontario's Progressive Conservative Premier, Doug Ford, authorized the removal of 3,000 hectares of land from its protected Greenbelt after a process that benefited some housing developers, according to a report from the province's Auditor-General. In a "seriously flawed" process that took just three weeks, Bonnie Lysyk wrote, the chief of staff for Municipal Affairs and Housing Minister Steve Clark selected 14 of the 15 formerly protected sites for development and rushed the environmental impact analysis.
