Dynamics of African Union's G20 membership

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has written to G20 leaders that the African Union may be given a membership in the grouping at the summit in September. If this happens, this could be an important achievement for India's G20 presidency. Now, 96 per cent of the African population is out of the G20.
