Prospective new Birmingham City owner Tom Wagner has likened his investment strategy to reviving carcasses. The American financier, 53, is set to take control of Blues after agreeing to purchase a 45.64 percent stake in the club, including the rights to St Andrew’s. Wagner’s Knighthead Capital Management firm is in the process of finalising their purchase with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and the EFL. Knighthead have made millions for their investors by repairing failing businesses and turning a profit.
