NSA Ajit Doval holds talks with Iranian counterpart in Tehran, focus on key projects & security cooperation

New Delhi: Days after Iranian Defence Minister Mohammad Reza Gharaei Ashtiani’s visit to India, National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval is in Iran on a day-long visit to hold talks with his counterpart and streamline key projects and security cooperation between the two countries. Doval, along with key officials from the National Security Council Secretariat, met with Ali Shamkhani, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), in Tehran Monday.
