Canada is ahead of the curve in building a clean-energy supply chain based on mining and processing of critical minerals. The highest-profile use of those essential materials, including nickel, lithium and cobalt, is in the electric vehicle (EV) revolution. But they are used widely across the economy, in cellphones, aerospace, and military equipment. The stakes are high.
