A second Australian minister will travel to China in a sign diplomatic tensions between the two nations continue to thaw. Assistant Trade Minister Tim Ayres will jet off to the Bo’ao Forum for Asia annual conference on Monday. In a statement ahead of his trip, Mr Ayres described the forum as an important step in establishing relations with Beijing. “The Bo’ao Forum provides a platform for high level dialogue … to discuss regional economic and trade issues,” he said.
