HAYWARD — A number of East Bay community projects will benefit from a funding package of over $15 million in 2023, using government money to help provide clean water, healthy food and other services to residents. The news was announced this week by Congressman Eric Swalwell, who represents California’s 15th congressional district. In a statement, Swalwell said that the funding, part of the federal government’s fiscal year 2023 package passed late last week, will be split between 15 different projects across cities such as Hayward, Livermore, and Dublin.
