THIS is the motto coined by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkià¿e or Turkey, which has become his now famous battle cry to reform the United Nations Security Council. The word “five” refers to the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) with veto power on resolutions and in the choice of the UN secretary-general. The five permanent members are the United States, Russia, China, Great Britain and France.
