Pupils at Olive High School in Burnley were the first group to sit their GCSE exams this year at the school. Every student who sat the exams achieved a ‘standard pass’ in GCSE English and Maths, of which 92 per cent of students also achieved the ‘English Baccalaureate’ level – a grade seven. The school is based on Shorey Bank and the class of 2022 were the first sit the exams at the school.
