House Foreign Affairs Committee Lead Republican and China Task Force Chairman Michael McCaul (R-TX) released the following statement on the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) aggression towards Taiwan. Over the last week, CCP officials have conducted unprovoked and destabilizing military actions, announced their intent to dismantle Taiwan’s democratic government, and threatened the people of Taiwan with human rights atrocities associated with the CCP’s ongoing genocide.
