Tesla’s giga plant in Shanghai, eastern China, has produced one million vehicles in three years, the company said on Monday. Established in 2019, Tesla’s Shanghai plant is the automaker’s first manufacturing facility outside the US, with over 95% localization of the production chain and 99.99% Chinese employees.
