The Chinese People's Liberation Army said it continued its military exercises around Taiwan on Monday, Aug. 8. The Army's Eastern Theater Command said its "multiple types of anti-submarine platforms have closely coordinated and conducted anti-submarine operations" in "the sea and airspace around the island of Taiwan." The People's Liberation Army released a video that they said showed warships, combat aircraft and helicopters conducting exercises.
