Taiwan reports 25,296 new COVIDs-19 cases, 72 deaths Taipei, July 16 (CNA) Taiwan reported 25,296 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, but all but 45 were domestic infections, according to the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC). 72 people died of the disease. Individuals who were reported dead on Saturday were in their 40s to 90s or older. Of these, 38 were not vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine, while 65 had chronic or other serious illness.
