© Sad news for young gamers in China! Tencent recently announced that the time limit on online gaming for minors in China will continue this summer. This means that China’s young gamers won’t have much time for video games during the holidays. Previously, in August 2021, the Chinese National Press and the State Administration imposed restrictions on playing time for minors in China. Tencent has published a calendar where minors can only play from 8pm to 9pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday every week, limiting their total game time to 21 hours during the holiday period.
