Taipei, July 16 (CNA) Taiwan reported 25,296 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, all but 45 of which were domestic infections, and 72 deaths from the disease, according to the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC). The individuals whose deaths were reported on Saturday ranged in age from their 40s to over 90. Among them, 38 were not vaccinated with any doses of a COVID-19 vaccine, while 65 had chronic illnesses or other severe diseases, the CECC said.
