Taiwan's COVID-19 case numbers for May 19, 2022. Taiwan reported 90,331 new local cases of COVID-19 on Thursday. Fifty-nine more people have died from the disease. More than a quarter of the people with new cases of COVID are from New Taipei, with 24,826 people there testing positive. Another 13,827 people have the virus in Taoyuan, along with 12,060 in Taipei.
