HANOI, May 7 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam recorded 3,345 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, down by 474 from Friday, according to its Ministry of Health. The new infections were all domestically transmitted, and reported in 55 provinces and cities. The Vietnamese capital Hanoi remained the epidemic hotspot with 630 new cases registered on Saturday, followed by the northern provinces of Vinh Phuc with 222 and Phu Tho with 179. The newly reported infections brought the total tally to 10,673,915 with 43,055 deaths in Vietnam.
