Cainiao launches distribution center in South Korea – Retail in Asia

Cainiao Network, the logistics arm of Alibaba Group, announced on 23rd March the launch of its first distribution center and trucking line haul route in South Korea to enhance cross-border delivery services for its e-commerce platform, AliExpress. This launch will enable South Korean customers to receive their overseas parcels in as fast as three working days. In the near term, Cainiao plans to further expand its last mile delivery network by adding on more local courier partners and establish a comprehensive nation-wide logistics network, beyond the capital city of Seoul.
