A Texas man admitted to stabbing an Asian family with a knife and yelling "get out of America" because he believed they were to blame for the COVID-19 pandemic. He could face life in prison if convicted of hate crimes. Jose Gomez III of Midland, Texas, pleaded guilty to three counts of committing a hate crime for singling out and injuring a family while they were out shopping, according to the United States Attorney's Office.
