Shares of Tata Communications rose around 2 per cent in early trade Wednesday after the firm said that it had been selected by the Eclat Media Group to provide support in the expansion of sports content broadcasting across Asian countries. The target nations include Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. Tata Communication's scrip rose to a high of Rs 1,293.30 as against the previous close of Rs 1,268.55 on the National Stock Exchange.
