Losing Apple might open new doors

At the end of 2021, China-based Luxshare Precision Industry announced it will invest CNY11 billion (US$1.7 billion) into expanding its mobile phone assembly production line by building a manufacturing facility the size of 40 football fields in Kunshan, China. The announcement highlighted the ongoing tug-of-war between Apple’s China-based and Taiwan-based manufacturers.
