Almost every country on the planet could experience a very hot year every other year by 2030, according to a new study on Thursday highlighting the massive contribution of emissions from the world's major polluters. The modeling study combined data on past emissions and pledges on reductions from the top five emissions countries (China, US, European Union, India, Russia) prior to the COP26 Climate Summit in 2030.
