November 26, 2021 Shanghai (Reuters) – A small number of local COVID-19 incidents in eastern China have restricted the city of tourism and reduced public transport services in neighboring cities. The city of Shanghai detected three domestically infected COVID-19 cases with confirmed symptoms on November 25, official data from the National Health Commission (NHC) showed on Friday. The last localized symptomatic infection in Shanghai was reported in August. The new infection occurred days after China contained the largest outbreak caused by the delta mutant.
