Foreign Minister Joseph Wu says that Taiwan’s invitation to take part in an upcoming virtual summit for democracy is an acknowledgement of Taiwan’s democratic achievements. Taiwan has been invited to take part in a virtual Summit for Democracy to be hosted by US President Joe Biden next month. Digital Minister Audrey Tang and Taiwan's envoy to the US Hsiao Bi-khim have been tapped to represent Taiwan during the event.
