Vietnam’s VinaCapital Group says French renewable energy firm EDR Renewables has made “a significant investment” into its subsidiary SkyX Solar. The asset manager did not disclose the value or any other details of the investment by the Paris-based firm. SkyX, a developer of rooftop solar power panels, was established in 2019. “We look forward to working with EDF Renewables to help SkyX grow as well as exploring other projects where there are synergies,” Don Lam, co-founder and chief executive officer of VinaCapital, says in a statement on November 7 announcing the investment.
