Courtney Lee Sarault of Moncton, New Brunswick, and Olympic bronze medalist Pascal Dion of Montreal, Quebec won World Cup short track speed skating medals in Beijing, China this past weekend. Sarault won the silver medal in the women’s 1500 metre race on Saturday, and Dion won the bronze medal in the men’s 1000 metre race on Sunday. In the women’s 1500 metres, Sarault had a time in the final of two minutes, 22.167 seconds. She beat out Yuting Zhang of China by 0.265 seconds. Zhang was in fourth place with a time of 2:22.432.
