United States would aid Taiwan for defence, says Joe Biden.

The President of the United States, Joe Biden said in a statement on Thursday that America will aid Thailand to defend the island that was claimed by China as its own. Later, on Thursday, the White House announced that the policy towards the island had not changed. When asked if the United States would come to Taiwan's defence at CNN town hall, Biden affirmed that United States had a commitment to do that.
